Born in Germany, 1966, Jayadev began his spiritual search at the age of 15, participating in various yoga courses and seminars. Daily 
meditation soon became central.

After finishing high-school and  social service, he went to India for 7 months, in search of his spiritual path. Later he enrolled in university, but as it became clear that his life belonged to the Kriya Yoga path of Paramhansa Yogananda, he quit, and joined the Ananda Assisi community in Italy
At age 23. There, for many years, he has been teaching courses and 
yoga seminars, as a certified Ananda Yoga teacher. He has taught in 
various European countries, in Russia and India, and also leads 
pilgrimages to India. He strongly believes in the universality of Truth
